How do you change default settings in a text box in Word 2007?

Every text box I create has an indent that I have to manually change, and I am getting sick of doing this. I have searched on the internet but can't find any way of changing the default settings, which seems a bit ridiculous (although it is Microsoft, so maybe that explains it).

Does anybody know? How do you change default settings in a text box in Word 2007?
insert a textbox and change the indents manually then right click on the textbox border line and choose ';set autoshape defaults';. if you want this setting to stay for every time that you open a new word document, search your hard drive for a file called normal.dot open it in word. do as above then delete the box and save the document AS A TEMPLATE by the same name on top of the existing file. exit, go back in and voila! all done.
