How to change default web browser setting?

My default web browser id Netscape since it takes hell lot of time to open. therefore I want to change it to IE. please tell me how I can do this. How to change default web browser setting?
There are a couple of ways to do it. One is to open IE through the programs menu, then go to Tools%26gt;Internet Options%26gt;Programs and check the little box that says ';Internet Explorer should check to see if it's the Default Browser.'; Then close IE and reopen it, then select ';yes'; when it asks you to set IE as the default browser.

Also, in XP (and possibly other versions, I'm not sure) you can go into ';Set program access and defaults,'; usually also through the start menu, and select IE as your default browser.

Hope that helps! How to change default web browser setting?

click ';Internet Explorer should check to see whieter it is the default browser'; click OK, Close IE, and open it again.

And when it asks you to set it as default, consent to it.

That's it, You are done!!!

Hope this helps. If not, please let me know. Will be glad to be of any assistance. Bye!
