How can i change default font to times new roman in microsoft word?

now it's calibri, but i'm tired of changing it every time i write a new documentHow can i change default font to times new roman in microsoft word?
Do this:



1. Right-click in an empty document and select Font.

2. Select the font you want.

3. Make any changes you want.

4. Click the Default button.

5. Select Yes in the warning box that appears.

6. Click OK.



The Page Setup dialog box also has a Default button that works the same way.

This change will affect all new documents based on the NORMAL template.

6. On the File menu, hold the SHIFT key down, and then click Save All.



Note If Word prompts you to save the new blank document, click Cancel. Word will not prompt you to save the changes to the Normal template unless the Prompt to save Normal template option is selected on the Save tab. To find this option, click Options on the Tools menu.

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.

2. In the Advanced tab, click to select the Prompt before saving Normal template check box in the Save group.
