How can i change default font type and font size in ms word xp 2007?

i want to type documents in the fone times new roman sized 12 but word default font is some thing else so every time when i draft some thing i need to chage the font first how can i avoid this. is there any way to change the default setting to times new romman sized 12How can i change default font type and font size in ms word xp 2007?
