How to Change Default Browser?

How do I change my default internet browser from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox? I recently got Firefox and it is much quicker, but my default browser is still Internet Explorer. When I check emails straight from my MSN it goes to Internet Explorer which slows down my computer and the browser itself is painfully slow.

Go to Tools%26gt;Options%26gt;Advanced%26gt;General (in Firefox) then click 'Check Now' next to 'Check if Firefox is the default browser on startup'.

To have vista don't need to be a factor for changing the default browser.



If you have google chrome, you can go in to options and make it your default browser, but you have firefox, then go into options, main and system defaults, check to see if it is the default browser, if not, you have options to make it a default
to make mozilla your default, go to control panel, then to default programs, then go to set default programs..and you should see mozilla and internet explorer..then just pick which ones you want as your defaults..hope this helps!

Go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Advanced Tab %26gt; Under system Defaults click the Check Now button.
open up firefox then goto Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt;

Programs Tab



Then click on Make default
