How do I change default fount in Word to Arial instead of Times New Roman?

Go to Format menu select the Arial Font and then on the Bottom there is a button name Default click on it and and click ok to set default.How do I change default fount in Word to Arial instead of Times New Roman?
Select 'Format' from the menu bar.

Then select Font.

Change the font settings to your desired default setting.

Click on OPTIONS IN MENU



from there just use your font as default
Click on format on the top tool bar and then click on font from the drop down....It will bring up all the choices you will need such as color, size and font choices....
